The smiling face you see on the park, Mark is passionate about providing excellent customer service. Hailing from Scotland Mark has found a new home here in the heart of the Lake District.

Our Reception manager joined us in April 2021 and enjoys looking at the magnificance of Skiddaw on her way to work. Moving from the Northeast in 2018 she has found Cockermouth to be her favourite town.

Kim is Cumbrian through and through and has a lovely distinctive West Cumbrian accent. Hobbies include knitting and DIY.

Originally from Merseyside, Mark is in charge of the park facilities making sure they meet the cleanliness expected of our guests. Enjoys early mornings and seeing some beautiful sunrises. Hobbies include DIY.

Carole returns for her fourth season. Hailing from the south of the country Carole enjoys gardening and the theatre.

Kevin hails from Keswick and brings experience from the many skills he has. In his day a fast bowler to be feared on the cricket pitch who played hard and fair.

Park Wardens

Dave is originally from Lancashire but has lived in County Durham for 30+ years, his hobbies include golf and fell walking. Toni comes from County Durham and her hobbies are reading and (the occasional fell walk). Their dog, Max the Border Collie, loves swimming, chasing his ball, fell walking with his dad and treats.

We welcome our new wardens Lisa and Darren to Castlerigg Hall for 2026. They love to be out walking or biking and exploring different corners of the Lake District .

The Chocolate Labrador

Ruby is in charge of the onsite dog facilities including a dog shower with heated water and the park’s two dog walk areas where owners can sit and enjoy the view alongside their four legged friends.
