Castlerigg Hall occupies a superb position in the heart of magnificent Lakeland countryside and there are lots of things to do close by. Numerous scenic walks from the park present breathtaking views and on our doorstep is the fascinating Castlerigg Stone Circle, thought to date back some 4000 years.

Climbing, golf, pony trekking, fishing and all kinds of watersports are available close by. Keswick and many other nearby towns and villages offer independent shops and many cafes, restaurants and bars to relax while you take in Lakeland life. You can also sample local delicacies such as Cumberland sausage, Windermere char, Borrowdale tea bread and Grasmere gingerbread. There are also iconic places not too far, such as lake Windermere and Hadrian’s Wall.

In whichever direction you travel from Castlerigg Hall Caravan, Camping and Glamping Park you will discover stunning countryside and a wealth of interesting places to visit.
