Light rain this morning so a low level walking suggestion. Heading off to Tewet Tarn (pictured - taken this week) via Castlerigg Stone Circle, which enjoys wonderful panoramic views, you have two choices. Continue to Threlkeld where you can stop for a bite to eat, then returning along the scenic disused railway line path into #keswick or alternatively follow the path over Low Rigg to St Johns Church then drop down toward Sykes taking the signposted path through the fields back to your starting point. ... A walk in Thirlmere Forest. The dog wash we installed at the start of the season has proven very popular, great for muddy paws! ... See MoreSee Less
